Hello world!

I have decided to keep this placeholder title for the first post on my new blog.

I was thinking about blogging seriously for some time now and I had never the time or courage to start doing it. Always thinking if I should do my blog in English or French and so forth. Well, one could say I was trying to find excuses, and he or she might be right.

What about this first post on my brand new blog? It’s just a starting point for me to say I will try to write one article per week. It’s a big challenge for me as I have never accomplished this!

I thought about how I could handle that, and I was planning to do my weekly post by adding new routines and habits of writing every day. I could say in some agile way, iteratively, by adding few sentences per day, and reviewing what I have written yesterday and so on.

This blog will be mainly for sharing my experience in game development. I worked on several video games, from facebook social games to PC and consoles ones.

I have started my career as an intern QA tester at Infogrames (in France), testing games like Mission Impossible on N64, and Lucky Luke on Playstation 1.

I have later joined the World of Warcraft Game Master Team in Ireland. It was a great and inspiring experience, not only for my career but also for my personal life. I have met great people, and became enthusiastic about achieving my dream: creating video games!

Since then I have worked as Producer on different video game studios: Digital Chocolate, Ubisoft, Ivory Tower, and now at Million Victories and Pixelgate Studios. (Yes both at the same time I will explain later why).

I have several topics to talk about that I think needs to be done in separate posts.

I will mainly write about games and titles I am working on, and also about the ones I am currently playing (or at least trying to play, as my free time is reduced to almost nothing 😅!) As professional and hobbyist game developer I will try also to share my personal experience about how I make games: our processes and tools.

I am always to open to suggestions and ways to improve this blog, so don’t hesitate to comment or sending me emails or tweets!
